The Berlin Brandenburg Association for International Affairs (BBAG) e.V. was founded in 1991. The BBAG represents a unique diversity of internationally oriented cultural activities, combining political education and further education and consultation in the region of Berlin and Brandenburg. It is a non-government organization, independent of political parties and religious affiliations, open to all citizens regardless of their nationality. The main objectives of BBAG are the support of transnational and intercultural encounters and education, as well as cooperation and partnership. As an organization operating in eastern Germany, there is a special focus of BBAG in shaping good relations with other European countries and regions.
