As a grassroots and think tank organization, the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Serbia has focused on mass infringement of human rights in Serbia and the region and advocates freedom of association, assembly and speech, tolerance and anti-discrimination. The mission of the HCHRS is to promote equality and observance of human rights of all minorities and sensitive groups and to advocate active and responsible citizenship. Main areas of work: Anti-discrimination; Monitoring of human rights; Education; Transitional justice; Rule of law.
